Joe Jamail attended the University of Texas School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor degree. In addition to his astronomical wealth, he was also a dedicated philanthropist.
After earning a B.A. from St. Thomas High School in Houston, he went on to study at the University of Texas at Austin. He served in the Navy during World War II and later returned to finish his studies. His work was recognized when the University of Texas awarded him the Joseph D.
